Our Routemaster Double Decker

The Routemaster has become an icon in its own right after pounding the capital's streets for over fifty years. This classic London bus is the result of London Transport's joint venture with AEC and Park Royal to create a bus capable of working the harsh streets of London with driver and passenger comfort, economy and durability built in. A total of 2876 Routemasters were built, 2760 for London Transport.

Our Routemaster which once carried a special overall advertising livery for Youngers breweries in the early 1970s during which time she was transferred to many garages as a means of maximising the publicity for the advertiser.
